Hi, I’m Pedro
I believe that nothing is more important than people, life, and love. Family, friends, and the new bundles of joy fulfil our lives with limitless happiness, and priceless times. Pets comfortably add another layer of love, and joy to our lives. My sessions tend to be relaxed and enjoyable. They happen in the comfort of your home and wherever the day takes you, I’m there all the way. Together we will create a story that captures beautiful memories of you and your family. This is about you, and this is your story. As a storyteller lover, I won’t coordinate the session, and let the essence of each individual bloom. Although I will create some beautiful portraits of your family but I will keep directions to a minimum. I would love to capture important moments of your life.

Hi, I’m Pedro.
and I thrive at every story of the way.
I am a documentary family photographer and videographer that loves capturing beautiful and real moments in the life of your family, documenting unique and captivating true stories. Because this is about you and your family, I am all in when it comes down to tell your story the way you deserve, the way it is, raw and sincere. This is your time together, this is your story. I am truly honoured by your choice of having me capturing your life as a family. To have a chance of showing you the way you connect, love, and live your story in a way you have never seen before, is the reason why I tremendously love what I do best, documenting your story. My devotion to you and your family in this process is remarkably marked by all the steps we take together along this journey so we can truly connect and create something beautiful that you can cherish for years to come.
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MYSELF
After being a Radiographer for almost 15 years, and taking thousands of different types of diagnostic photographs of the human body, I decided to take advantaged of my skills and focus on capturing images of people and their lives. This time, instead of looking inside and unable to identify any emotional reaction to the event, I now report moments and emotions to a very specific and important period of time in people’s lives. Also, and most important, with the capability of including their families and their friends allowing them to share their special connection, creating a unique emotional attachment to those photographs.
Photography is my passion and my way of leaving. In order to feel emotionally fulfilled in life I constantly need to create these unique moments in someone’s life. A very brief period of time that due to its importance and significance deserves to be captured to become real beautiful memories. I was born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal. I love family and friends, and I feel fortunate for every second we get to spend together. I am absurdly fond of life, and everything that comes with it. I cherish the land I walk on and the sky above me. I try to reflect my love for people and life in all the moments that I luckily grab with my camera, and that I feel are worth remembering. Commonly, I am not looking for perfection, instead, I try to obtain real moments that, if isolated, can inflict emotions, but when put together can create a story.
After living in London, UK, for almost 8 years, I now live in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia with my partner Simone, and my 3-year-old son Leo. I love capturing moments that make sense to me, and that hopefully might make sense to someone else. A photograph, a moment, a story. This is my way to see the world, and a tool that I utilise to freeze important moments. This is my way to meet people, places and collect images that make sense and deserve my full attention and dedication.
YOUR SESSION EXPERIENCE IS TRULY IMPORTANT AND MEANINGFUL TO ME
My sessions tend to be laid back and relaxed so that you can enjoy and have fun while providing me with your unique and beautifully creative way to connect to the world and to each other. My intent is to eliminate your stress and worries contemplate you with a fantastic time. Most can’t believe what a great time they had and how enjoyable it was to spend that time together to create beautiful and meaningful memories.

With my sessions I pretend to capture your unique way to connect. The important fact is capturing your essence while having a good and relaxing time.
It is so important, now more than ever, to make memories with the people that mean the most. It is all about what is important to you, and to those you love.
I believe that truthful and remarkable moments of any important relationship must be celebrated with beautiful memories artistically captured in the most natural way possible.
Using natural light to document an important mark in your life is my absolute destination.
